equal parts in Royal
if your using professional product all schwarzkopf igora royal (permanent ) colours are mixed on a 1 to 1 ratio
Redken Color Gels developer is formulated specifically for Gels, but using any developer will still work.
Developer and color require an equal parts mixture. If you are using two ounces of color, you would need to use two ounces of developer.
When using color gels, mix equal parts of the color and developer. Leave on for 35 minutes.
No. Using a developer by itself will only open the hair's cuticle. You will need bleach or a high lift color, in combination with a developer, to actually lighten it.
If you do color you use math by using the scale to measure the grams of color, tones and developer you need.
No. It is not recommended to use hair dye without the developer or without it's original content. However if you were to use a temporary rinse then a developer isn't needed. If you are using any dyes that are not already ready to go (previously mixed by the manufacturer) then you will need to follow those instructions and mix your developer with the color.
The amount specified in the instructions for the product you are using.
The only thing that will occur when using 30 V. developer when coloring a dark color is that the color will not take as dark as it should. It will probably turn out to be a little lighter than expected.
The volume of the developer simply tells you how many levels it will lift your hair so since you are using 30 volume, it will lift your natural color 3 levels higher to help the permanent color show better. The volume/color ratio is 1:1 which means however many oz. of haircolor you use, you put the same number of oz of developer. For example: 2oz permanent haircolor: 2oz of developer I hope this helps you! Source: I am a cosmetologist
Yes, this will work, but I recommend using 20 volume developer instead of 30 volume and watch the hair closely.
in my time with color i found you can sometimes lift with a 30 volume if your hair is not too dark, the 30 will lift and deposit as to 20 and 10 only depositing the color.
