If you Use knuckles then you just need your dexterity to be at least around half of your str to use the weapon and equal to your dex to use armor. Or you can be dexless and not every put anything more than 20 into your dexterity. If you want to use guns than you can be strengthless or your out of luck, because for guns you NEED dexterity.

im a lvl 93 pirate, so u should listen to me. strengh does give u higher hitting rate, but u need dex too. higher dex means u can hit high level monsters too. so what u have to do is that ur dex should be 5 points higher than ur actual level. eg. if ur level 10, then ur dex should be 15. u should have 5 ability points, so if ur dex is like what i showed u, and u still have a couple of extra points, put it all in strengh. u dun have to do what i tellof course. but u see, im lvl 93, and im probs more experience than u. (sorry if imwrong)
