Jagex Ltd. (or Jagex Software) is a British producer of Java-based online computer games. They are most commonly associated with the MMORPG RuneScape, but also own the FunOrb website as well as various other online projects.
You CANNOT download Jagex, it's a games studio not a program. You might Java and Jagex mixed up.
RuneScape was written in the Java language, with extensions written by the company, Jagex. It seems they created their own language that runs on top of Java. The extensions, or "language on top of Java", are proprietary, and I believe it is not available for programmers outside of Jagex.
1) java is the graphics server -_- 2) if a JAGEX mod were to do that then they would get fired.
If you are actually talking about Java, then I don't think so.
Jagex Ltd. (also known as Jagex Software or JaGeX Games Studio) is a United Kingdom-based producer of Java-based online video games(Cambridge, United Kingdom)
Jagex created RuneScape by using Java. Later on, Jagex made their own scripting language called RuneScript so that it is easier to make updates. However, they are only limited to RuneScript's capabilities.

Online games are more commonly made for flash technology, but there are some for Java, too. One notable company that produces games for Java is Jagex; their main (and oldest) game is at www.runescape.com, more recently they added several more games, at www.funorb.com.
