Since the US Delta Force resemble the British SAS so much Does the Delta Force have a signature costume like the SAS's Black Kit?

No, what little is publicaly known about Delta Force indicates that they use the most appropriate equipment available for a particular mission. This includes their uniform, which can vary from mission to mission and also appears to vary depending on the individual soldier's preference.

Who was the first xo of seal team six?

ST6 was created by Richard Marcinko after a failed rescue mission of Navy SEALS and Delta Force in Operation Eagle Claw. This might imply that ST6 could be an "improved" version of the Delta Force in some respect. Also it has been a general knowledge that Delta Force was patterned after the British SAS and ST6 training is very much based on Delta Force training with a few extra tweeks. So technicaly ST6 are based on the S.A.S too. Dick Marcinko. He is also known as Demo Dick, Shark Man of the Delta, The Geek, and Rogue Warrior

How can you go into the delta force?

To be in 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta you must be asked by an officer in Delta. To be asked, you truly have to be the best of the best, from the best of the best (meaning that even among the elite Rangers or Green Berets you must stand out), and it would help if you knew someone who was in Delta (some Green Beret drill sergeants are/were Delta). You must demonstrate exceptional courage, valiance, and will to win. Never let your standards fall when it comes to skill: always strive to be better. You have to be tough, not as much physically but mentally, and embrace the mindset that it will never get easy, ever, but eventually you get used to it. Being in Delta Force is one of the hardest thing's an American can do, so make sure you really want it, or you'll waste a military career chasing a fantasy. To make sure the desire is real, don't watch Delta Force 1 or 2, and take a break from Call of Duty. There is also a book written by former Delta Force operator Eric L. Haney called inside Delta Force, but if you have a small tolerance for cussing I wouldn't recommend it.Good luck and God bless America! It may have changed but Delta has tryouts just like everyone else, in my day early-mid 90's you had to be on your second enlistment, the tryouts are difficult and they had (and I bet still do) a board that has to accept you even if you pass all of the tests during tryouts. Delta (KAG) is a unit that requires experienced soldiers with a certain intellect I had a squad leader that failed tryouts once (feet brokedown) made it thru the second time and the board told him to go to a non SOCOM unit for a while and settle himself then comeback, I have a close friend that spent 6.5 years in Delta and is one of the founders off the asymetrical warfare group and if you met him you would think he was an Arkansas Hillbilly (which he is) I was in Ranger Bat we had a few go Delta but not many. The required shooting skills and thinking processes seem to lean toward maturity for Delta but unless it has changed the only requirement to try out is that you be on your second or greater inlistment and I think you have to be an E-5 or E-6 or higher. I may be wrong but that is how I remember it
