That depends what kind of horses the trainer is working with. Some may travel very little, others travel to different shows or racetracks almost every week. Top-level hunter/jumper trainers and riders may spend the winter in one part of the country, and the spring and summer in another part. Some travel internationally. There's really no standard answer to this question.
Depends on here you live, horse riding is really popular that much, I am a fellow rider and trainer. but haven't heard of a need for more trainers.
you usually get exactly what you pay for. Younger inexperienced trainers (not including feed and board) will run $200 and up Very good, well known successful trainers can get in the $1,500 to $2,500 range
Average trainers make around 36,000$ but formal schooling trainers make about 40,000$.
How much rest a race horse should get between races is dependent upon the horse and his health. Usually race horse trainers will give their horses about 3 weeks (21 days) between races. Some horses are able to be raced more or less frequently.
It depends on what area of the U.S you are in. I am in Montana and most trainers get anywhere from 20 to 25 dollars per ride or session they work with the horse. Most trainers take the horse for 30 days. It ends up being between 600 to upwards of 800 per month for the most experienced horse trainers. But for local ranchers, I would be happy getting 600 a month.
Good elliptical trainers usually range from $600 to $1000, while high quality trainers can be in excess of $2000. If on sale, these machines can be found for half of the retail price.

Mostly on foot and on horse back. Horse drawn chariots were known for use in raids and war times, while larger transport carriages were usually pulled by oxen, as the horse was considered too much an asset to be doing raw work like this.
A horse trainer or breaking person can make about 34,000 dollars per year depending on where he or she works. Thoroughbred horse trainers tend to be the highest paid because they work within the racing industry.
Travel by train was much less expensive, and more reliable, than travel by horse-drawn carriage.
