I can say now, in 2013, my father has cost $250,000 + dollars. We are still waiting for the bill for surgeons costs. This case he was stage IV colon cancer, left upper lobe. Treated surgical and radiation wise as a stage III lung cancer patient. Chemo provided was for metastatic colon cancer. I cant compare chemo drugs for lung cancer but I know his costs around $11k per session, 12 sessions total. This was done at Brigham & Women's Hospital with staff from Dana Farber. Hopefully this can help anybody, but remember every case is different.
the answer to that question depends on what part of the cancer victims lob? its alot because my grandmother just went threw it and i estimated $12,000 - $100,000 for a lung cancer surgery
