I can say now, in 2013, my father has cost $250,000 + dollars. We are still waiting for the bill for surgeons costs. This case he was stage IV colon cancer, left upper lobe. Treated surgical and radiation wise as a stage III lung cancer patient. Chemo provided was for metastatic colon cancer. I cant compare chemo drugs for lung cancer but I know his costs around $11k per session, 12 sessions total. This was done at Brigham & Women's Hospital with staff from Dana Farber. Hopefully this can help anybody, but remember every case is different.

Depending on what type of surgery you need it cost diffrently. Insurance should cover a fraction of it so I wouldn't worry. usally out of pocket $2,000.
