had four taken out by a top private oral and maxillofacial surgeon, at the royal dental hospital on Swanston St opp Melbourne Uni. All up about $2500 - $1500 for surgeon, $500 for the hospital and $500 for the anaesthetist. Well worth it really, better than being in the chair. Although I had no choice because one was impacted and near a nerve, so recommended to get knocked out. And I get a bit back from Medicare apparently for the anaesthetist.
I heard that on Collins st the Wisdom Teeth Professionals do 4 wisdom teeth removal in Melbourne for a max of $970. I gues worth checking these guys out.
