Depending on which engine, it is normally between 0.5 to 1.0 Liter. Start filling it by 0.5 or half a quart (approx half a Liter), run the car for the day and add as necessary the next morning as you check the dipstick again.
Remember to warm the engine first before topping the oil. This gives a better mix between old and new oil.
Fill the power steering reservoir until the dipstick in it reads full.
Fill to the full mark on the dipstick.
Add transmission fluid until the dipstick reads full.
On the dipstick it will say cold and hot. Fill the trans fluid until the level reads hot, shifts the gears from park all the way down to low gears a few times recheck the level fill as needed.
If you are referring to a 4 cycle small equipment engine then use SAE 10w30. Pour in just enough to fill it to the full mark on the dipstick. If you have no dipstick then fill it up until it reaches the top of the fill hole.
on any vehicle. fill 3 liters. check the dipstick. if there is nothing visable on the dipstick, fill 500 ml. repeat this in 500ml steps until the oil is visable on the dipstick then add just 250ml at a time until the oil is just under the top mark on the dipstick
The most common cause of fluid coming out of the dipstick tube is an over fill. Check the fluid level to see if there is too much.
there should either be a dipstick with a level indicator or you would fill to the level of the fill plug.
Enough to fill it to the full mark on the dipstick.
Probably around 1/2 quart. Drain the oil and just put in enough to reach the full mark if it has a dipstick. If it has no dipstick then fill it up until oil runs out the fill hole.
fill it til the stick reads Full
3.4 to 4.4 litres. never over fill, it can damage the engine. fill engine up to the full line on the dipstick and no further.
