There are so many facts that dispute the "pandemic" actual force because the media is overblowing that one simple fact explains why: In 2016, a study by the Center for Public Integrity showed that 96% of campaign donations by journalists went to Hillary Clinton, compared to just 3.5% which went to Trump.
While coverage of President Obama included 59% favorable content among the 10 news outlets compared to 41% negative,
coverage of President Trump has included a whopping 80% of reporting that is negative in tone, with just 20% that is positive.

I do not think you can do too much video editing in media player. I think a Nero or Roxio software would be better suited for such a task.

Many people dislike the media. There is probably no particular reason to think participants on this site feel much different than the general population.
What group is assumed too much power?
In my opinion that would be the media; in particular, the broadcast media. Those that believe that the government or the people in government are the answer must take into consideration that so much of the media is delivering opinion rather than news. We don't get to hear what government officials are actually doing only what a particular media person or media group wants us to think they are doing. That power trumps the power of the government.

No. It takes a lot more than the mere media to drive people insane. People are much tougher than they think they are. Human beings have been around a long time. It takes more than just the media to drive us over the edge.
