sway bar end linksway bar end link
13 ft lbs. See related link for a picture.
change the sway bar rubber bushings and sway bar link bushings
It has a sway bar in the front and in the rear. It has a connecting link at each end of each sway bar = 4 total
The sway bar is not adjustable, but you can replace the bushings.
sway bar link pins
Inspect the front end for loose/worn parts such as the ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, pitman arm, center link, control arm bushings, wheel bearings, shocks, sway bar bushings, sway bar end links and steering box adjustment. Replace what parts you find worn and have the front end aligned.
The defective sway bar link can cause the clunking or the rattling of the noise from the front suspension during the low speed driving.
Check with a Ford dealer - there was a recall on the front sway bar links because under certain conditions they could fracture - so they were replacing the left and right front sway bar links under the recall. (Helpfull)
A "lift" link I've never heard of. But a stabilizer link is located at each end of the sway bar that runs roughly beteween the front wheels. The link connects the swaybar to the lower control arm.
ABOUT a half hour if you have done it before.
