Topsoil is NEVER sold by the "truck-load". Usually in yards or tons, as there are several differant sizes of trucks... A "yard" of dry topsoil should weigh a little less than 1 ton.

A cubic yard of topsoil, if compacted to get the air pockets out will weigh more than 1 tone. If the topsoil is loose, a cubic yard of it could weigh about 1 ton. A lot depends on the topsoil, and whether it has more stone dust or less in it. The more moist the topsoil is, the more likely it will weigh more than a ton.
(43,560) x (depth of the topsoil in feet) cubic feet
On one site I found the weight of one cubic yard of topsoil listed as 1,35 US tons
Machine # 1 works at a rate of 1/2 truckload per hour, while machine 2 works at a rate of 1/4 truckload per hour. The two machines together work at a rate of 3/4 truckload per hour complete the job 1/(3/4) = 1-1/3 hours.
This question has no real answer as it depends where you stay and the availability of top soil. How much is a cubic yard of topsoil in Iceland? How much is a cubic yard of topsoil in the Sahara Desert? How much is a cubic yard of topsoil in Washington DC? etc. etc. Check a local newspaper or nursery/ garden centre
1/2 of a load
Depending on where you live, in the UK 1 ton of Topsoil can cost anything from £45 lose up to £120 within a container. I hope this helps. www.gutteringdirect.com

That depends on the truck. I could load 1/4 ton of rock into a pickup truck, and consider it a truckload, or I could be referring to a truckload being 25 tons of rock in a 40 ft. frameless end dump trailer.
the weigh 1-7 ounces
