Pine costs the Medium amount i am not to sure what though
No, I would not recomend using pine in a cutting board at all. You can use soft maple from the big box stores to keep cost down. Hickory may be even cheaper.

We just purchased a 7ft Austrailian pine and paid $300.00 (USA) for the tree and to have it planted.
It depends on the shape. A thin section will cost less than a board, a moulding less than rough cut etc.
About 20 pounds
A 1x4 inch piece of pine wood costs about .58 cents per foot. This means 12 feet of 1x4 would cost someone about $6.96 cents plus taxes.

What is the weight limit on a 2"x2" pine board before it breaks
per square foot its about 75 cents - 50 pence
No, pine is a soft wood. If you were to use any type of pine, it will make the board more susceptible to water damage and pressure cracks. ~ Cheers
