Three quarts of cracked corn would weigh 4.03 lbs. This because there is 50 pounds per bushel of cracked corn and one bushel is equivalent to 37.2367119 quarts. Thus, 50 lb/bu divided by 37.2367119 qt/bu gives us 1.342769879 lb/qt. Three qts multiplied by 1.342769879 equals 4.028282637 lbs or, to round it up to one hundredth of a decimal place, 4.03 lbs.
There are 9.3 quarts in a peck.
A tonne
Depends onthe size of the can.
100lbs
1 gallon = 4 quarts 1 quart = 0.25 gallon
About 4 quarts.
A bushel of cracked corn is 56 lbs, which is about 10 gallons (or 2- 5 gallon buckets). So a 55 gallon barrel can hold approx. 5.5 bushels which approx. 308 lbs.
You don't measure meat in quarts. However, a quart of meat would weigh 2 pounds
check the box. Or weigh it.small are 750gm - large 1 kilo
About 170 gm, or 6 ounces. To weigh 1 cup of corn kernels, get some scales and weigh the measuring cup. Then fill the measuring cup with corn kernels and weigh it again. Subtract the weight of the cup empty from the weight of the cup full and the answer you get will be the weight of one cup of corn kernel.
Although not scientifically tested, since there are two pints in one US quart and one US pint (16 oz)= 1 pound I would say that 1 quart sould always weigh about 2 pounds. However, this question is hard to answer because there is no way to know the moisture content of the corn when it is weighed. For example, lets say you have removed 1 quart of fresh corn. Since it is at least 90% water, if this corn is dehydrated, it would eventually reduce to about 3.2 oz. Conversely, if you take 1 quart of dry corn and rehydrate it would weigh 20 pounds. The above is for corn that can be packed into a relatively dense wet or dry configuration. The other state we commonly see corn in is popped corn and I have no idea how much one quart would weigh...
it has been awhile, but no more than a handful per day, of say cracked wheat and corn.
