According to the 1986 Lincoln Town Car sales brochure the car weighs about 4038 pounds. The base town car is the lightest with the signature a little heavier and the cartier edition a little heavier than that but these variations are not large. Msnautos states that an 89 model weighs 4040 pounds (quoted because that site does not go back to 1986) so the 4038 figure seems reasonable.
