To become a Jagex mod you will have to apply and this is a actual job. for player/forum moderator there is no way to apply, buy, or obtain modship other than help out the community and report troublemakers and keeping your account secure FYI there is no site to apply, no where, even if they claim to be a real jagex site. only sites ran by jagex are jagex.com, runescape.com, and funorb.com. others are fakes

you can't become a mod any more. Jagex had a forum you could fill out to become a mod but now you cant do it.
The only way to become a Jagex Moderator is to be employed by Jagex itself. This means that you will need to be successful in an application for one of the available positions. After you have started working you will be given a Jagex Moderator character for work purposes. We do not upgrade game characters to Jagex Moderators and you cannot use these characters to play the game on.
