Depends on what vehicle you are asking about.
You can not. There are no rebuilt cats and it is not legal to sell a used one.
The converter will cost from $275 to $325 depending on where you buy it. Labor to remove the old one and install a new one will be around $100.
You can't, period. It is illegal to remove a catalytic converter without installing another one. Besides no modern engine will run correctly with the catalytic converter removed. Suck it up, buy a converter and have it installed.
Most recycle places that buy aluminum cans and the like will buy converters.
There is one, if that is your question. You can buy one yes, if that is your question.
The manifold is considered before the catalytic converter.
Buy a new one or keep beating the crap out of the one that is clogged.
A bad catalytic converter and stopped up muffler will slow down the car. The catalytic converter is under warranty up to 84,000 miles, if defective. If you ran over a speed bump and damaged it, you have to replace it. You can buy a lower catalytic converter for $120 from advance auto parts.
i just replaced the catalytic converter in my 98 cl. I bought a brand new universal converter for $200 and about $50 on a couple sensors that got messed up, you can buy converters at junk yards for cheaper but i couldn't find any. if you need labour done as well your looking at about 350-400 bucks, i installed myself though
I just got two quotes. One was for $501.00 the other was $476.00. You can buy the same converter they will put on your car for about $225.00 but then they will mark it up when they install it to around $425.00 and charge you $75.00 to install it.

If you get after market, which I really would do, then you will be able to find a shop to do both for around $ 500.00. If you go to Ford, you could buy another car for what they will charge you.
