It will run you anywhere from $35-$80 depending on if the item is used or new and shipping prices will come into play. Also check the DELL website itself to see if they have special offers.

NO Actually, you can (I have), but it's not worth it. You can install a hacked tiny version of Windows 7 on a Dell Inspiron 2500. But unless you have 512mb of memory, you won't be able to run a single thing without having to wait an extreme amount of time. Even with 512MB (which is the maximum, if you believe the manual provided by Dell) it won't be pretty.
Well As the DELL Optiplex series is quite old the Processors are the Old/er versions of the Intel Pentium 4 ones so they run at about 800MHz, they can be over clocked to about 1.5 GHz but that really would be pushing it, they also can support the Intel dual core processors but in order to do so will need more RAM (Random Access Memory) with in fact would be cheaper to buy a new computer.
Theoretically - yes. However - you might have to run some programs in administrator mode in order to get full access.
Windows ultimate
no not really it wont work it requires a graphic card of at-least 64mb many PC games wont work without a graphics card so you have to get one
Its just not about Dell.the basic problem due to to which the system hangs at boot up is-faulty OS or the system do not recognizes hard drives. The best way is to take it to a tech. person and have it done,he will connect and reconnect the hard drives and run the system and instal drivers for everything you are running on you system.
yes but you might not have all the dell drivers.
Some people can run pro tools on the Dell Inspiron 1520 and some have issues. It is best to contact dell support.
The Dell Latitude series of laptops run on a variety of Intel processors from 400 mhz to 1.2 ghz.
