When I started in 2001 , I started at $7.00, left at 9.50 in 2005.I know for a fact the kitchen manager starts at $12.00 or they convince them to do salary. So to be fare cooks make between mininmum wage and anywheres up to $10.50( that takes years to achieve ) they are not to worried about cooks, people are there for the scenery! not some furry hungover cooks! It's short order cooking, no chefs required! hope that helps
I have worked at a Hooters for 4.5 years now and I make $9.25 an hour and I have not seen a raise in a LONG TIME. When I started I was making $7.25 an hour. Hooters does not pay their cooks well at all. True the job is short order and it is not that hard to learn the menu but come on, give your cooks a reason to love the job. Oh sure that half naked servers are a treat but I am 30 and I go to work to WORK and not slack off or ignore orders so I can stare at the girls. Hope that helps.
A hooters owner can make a wide variety of money depending on their location and how the business is run. It is not unusual to pull in more than 300,000 dollars a year.
