Miniature horses require the same amount of food regardless of sex, unless a mare is pregnant.
Mini's should be fed at 1.5 to 1.75% of their body weight daily. So for a miniature that is 200 pounds that's 3-3.5 pounds of feed daily. To calculate the weight for feed weigh the horse or use a weight tape and then divide the weight as follows: weight divide by 100= ? x 1.5 or 1.75 = weight in feed. (Example 200 / 100= 2x 1.5 or 1.75 = 3-3.5 pounds.)
How fast a horse, pony, or miniature eats depends completely on the individual. A paint horse will, of course, eat MORE than a miniature because it is bigger.
Sometimes... not always.
any horse can eat too many apples small or large if they do they will get really sick or they will get colic
Miniature horses eat what regular horses eat grass horse feed etc. Just smaller amounts. Goats will eat plants weeds and grass.
if it lives out, let it eat as much as it likes GET A HORSE MANUEL
I have a miniature dachsund myself and they only get to be about 12 pound at the most. Regular dachsunds would get up to 15 pounds. My dachsund is small for a miniature and she will get to be about 7 pounds 10 at the most. But you have to watch how much they eat because these type dogs are prone to being obese. If given a choice they will eat and eat and eat.
Walk off, eat something, and then pester him to do it again if she's still in heat.
yes
no
they eat 5 times a day
Physically speaking, a horse is able to eat a human the way we eat animals. But it cannot, however, swallow you whole. But the chance of a horse attempting to eat you is pretty much zero because they are herbavores (plant eaters).
horses can graze (eat) for up to 16 hours a day.
