CVS is a company which will pay the lowest wage that you are willing to accept. There are a few things to remember when accepting a position. First off, Don't ever accept the first number they give you, Why pay you 12 eggs if they're willing to take 3? Secondly, if they are giving you a number, that means that they have already decided your the candidate for the job, you were the person who stood out in the interview, they want YOU. So stay confident. Third, they have a system which keeps everyones wage a secret, the person next to you might make 4 dollars more or 2 dollars less, so don't try and base it off what others are making around you (if you can even find out, nobody wants to talk about it, because they don't want to find out they're the one making the least amount). Finally, if you do accept an offer, talk about when your first review period will be. Typically CVS does it a year from the start date, come the next year, CVS policy will pay a maximum raise of 6% on your current wage, BUT the store manager is only allowed to give you 4% that additional 2% is coming from your District Manager. Make sure when your review date is coming up that you are 100% certified in everything that you are suppose to be, otherwise this will effect your raise. Hope this helps.
