∙ 13y agoIt really depends on the type of dog and where you get it. At a shelter they tend to be more expensive but they have all their shots. But at the store they are cheaper and have not gotten all shots so it makes up the difference. I got my dog from a breeder and he is a pure breed Schnauzer. He cost 250 dollars but he had hook worms and to get them out we made up the price of other breeders or shelters.
