It depends on what kind of animal it is. Even then it will still be pretty expensive. If you adopt from a private party the animal might be free. If you adopt from a shelter they typically need to charge a adoption fee to help cover their cost for spaying or neutering, shots etc. Shelter fees can run from $50.00 to around $125.00 depending on your location.
It really depends on the type of dog and where you get it. At a shelter they tend to be more expensive but they have all their shots. But at the store they are cheaper and have not gotten all shots so it makes up the difference. I got my dog from a breeder and he is a pure breed Schnauzer. He cost 250 dollars but he had hook worms and to get them out we made up the price of other breeders or shelters.
The cost for pet adoption will depend on where you adopt a pet from. Some institutions (animal shelters, vet offices, ect) will offer free adoption services, not including vet bills or immunizations.
if its a new born thern in the thousands but if its a 6 weeks or higher its probaly 6 hundred
Answer:Every animal shelter sets its own fees, so you would need to contact the shelter you're interested in adopting from to find out what they charge. Most public animal shelters in the U.S. charge about $50. (With all due respect, the answer above is outlandish; adoption fees from such shelters are never hundreds or thousands of dollars.)Most dog shelters charge 30.00 to 50.00 dollars to adopt. This includes shots and tags. Some also give a discount coupon so you can get the dog fixed if it isn't all ready.
Anywhere from $50-200
If you are looking at the cost of adopting a pet generally a cat is cheaper. The standard vaccinations and neutering is similar in cost. Good luck with your choice
it depends how much u want to give in
Dog bones cost $ 10.00
That depends on if your adopting or buying from a breeder (They usually don't sell them at pet stores) but if your buying from a breeder, it is usually between 300$ and 500$ but is you are adopting then that depends on where you're adopting from but usually between 50$ and 200$
When it comes to buying or adopting a dog, many people spend a little too much time focusing on the breed. What it really comes down to is the individual dog's personality. Terriers are known for being energetic, but some can be quite relaxed. Still, breed is a good guideline for what to expect of a dog in general. When adopting a mutt from a pound, it's a good idea to get some information on the dog's genetic makeup so you can plan accordingly.
depends how much effort the shelter or foster dog owner puts into trying to convince people of adopting the dog.
How old is he/she, do they have medical problems, why are they in the shelter (if this applies), and how much do they cost.
Purebred puppies can be extremely expensive (a couple thousand dollars is at least in the right ballpark).Adopting a dog from the local animal shelter is MUCH less expensive (a hundred bucks or less at most places; puppies usually cost more than adult dogs).
It doesn't matter too much, but you should buy from a breeder. If you end up adopting, the dog will love you the same..
Alot of money you pay for diapers bottles foood shelter clothes etc.
$1 CDN
Actually, it is priceless adopting a dolphin, but sometimes people just make it possible.
