You're better off going to an independent reptile retailer - rather than a general pet-shop like Petland. The staff at Petland may not know enough specialist information about reptiles - since they have to know something about every animal they sell. An independent reptile retailer will be able to give you more specialised knowledge about specific species.
Additionally - before buying any reptile, you as a potential owner, owe it to the animal to research as much as you can on the species before you get it ! You are the one who will be caring for it, and it's no good just sticking it in a plastic tank with a couple of bugs and some water - then expect it to survive - it won't ! Temperature, lighting, heating, food, vitamins all play a part in the successful rearing of reptiles - and it's no good waiting until something goes wrong before researching the animal !
Twenty-five years of successful keeping & breeding reptiles has provided me with a steady income - and I'm glad I did my research on each animal before acquiring them !
Geckos cost around £30+ but can be over £300 for the special morphs. Tank around £80+ Then add on the cost of decorations then the food which the food costs around £2.00 for a pot of crickets. lets just say they are not a cheap pet.
about 100-130$

I purchased my leopard gecko for $20.00 with out setup $200 w/setup*if you are thinking of getting a leopard gecko make sure you research what it needs at a lot of corporate stores they don't know exactly what is needed
50 dollars is usually what most breeders charge to ship. Which is also the cost of next day delivery.
Normal types wouldn't be. but leopard geckos come in different morphs, or colors. Nicer and rarer colors will cost much more. A normal looking gecko can cost $25, while a rarer coloration could cost $3000.
No.
This depends on which Gecko you are talking about, as they are quite a few. A leopard Gecko is usually around £40, where as a crested Gecko can be picked up for as cheap as £20. That said, a red Crested Gecko can set you back £80. It is best to call your local reptile pet store for an exact quote.
The Leopard gecko is not related the the fat tail gecko and live in different regions across the globe. The Leopard gecko requires much dryer and arid areas with temps reaching 100+F. The fat tailed gecko needs more humidity and not so much heat with temps ranging from 78-90F.
im am doing a reaserch for my science class on leopard gecko i need the answer too how much rainfall a leapard gecko gets please and thank u!!
Impossible to answer ! Vet fees vary wildly - depending on what country you're in, which practice you use, and whether it's your first visit... Incidentally - grammatically speaking - your question should have read 'how much would it cost to take a leopard gecko to a vet'... You take something fromwhere you are to another place - you bring something from somewhere else to yourself !
Leopard geckos do not require a misting but rather a bowl of water that is changed daily.
