It depends. I just got one rebuilt for $1900 after taxes. The guy told me that most shops in the area charge around $2500. Keep in mind, that this is in Knoxville, TN. I would say $2500~$3000 would be about average. Just make sure that the guy doing it is trustworthy. I heard about my guy via word-of-mouth. That is about the best way to find a good transmission guy...
