assuming it is a classic mini. the head gasket it'self is not a big job to change, nor does the gasket it'self cost a fortune of money. therefore assuming the gasket costs £10.00 and takes a garage one hour to fit, at £100.00 an hour it would cost aprox. £110.00. however if you are confident enough and own a spanner set, a torque wrench and a haynes manual, the job can be completed in a morning for the price of £10.00
