i have a VW beetle 2000 and it costs $60 to fill up
Most of them are from 40 older models to 60 liters.
16 gallon tank you do the math
I think it holds around 9.2 gallons. I overfilled mine once, and it leaked from the breather hose. Best to stop about 9 gallons on the fill.
the new volkswagens as i know it has hydrostatic transmissions no dipstick no plug ........if u see a low fluid trans light or trans service light is on jack up car and find where it is leaking from because it is busted
Fill it with what?
Half a gallon should do it, if all you want to do is get the car to start. If you want to fill the tank, a standard Beetle requires ten gallons.
Fill the reservoir with G12 VW coolant only and it will go into the engine.
There's a red tab on the transmission you pull off, then pry open a fill plug underneath. use a funnel attached to a hose.
Add coolant to the overflow bottle. USE ONLY VW PINK ANTI-FREEZE!! ________________________________________________________________ VW's historically had air-cooled engines but they now have a closed cooling system. The coolant overflow bottle is part of the pressurized cycling system and this is where you would fill it when it is cool. Due to the design of this system, the common problem of reservoir failures occur when the bottle splits and needs to be replaced. y-think-y
Look to see where you fill the brake fluid and where your filling the brake fluid that is the master cylinder.
no radiator cap . the overflow bottle (near the dash) functions as a fill location.
