The compressor itself will cost about 200 with labor. But, that's probably not the problem, you probably just need some freon or whatever the stuff is that they use now. Its about 100. It runs out because of a pin sized hole anywhere in the unit. To find and fix the hole is expensive, because they have to go on thru the dash board, and it's expensive. If the van is old, then it's not really worth it. You're better off just refilling freon once every few summers.
