If you are going to repair a pothole the right way,meaning saw cutting the area removing any bad asphalt and base, compacting any new base, applying a type of glue to the cut edges , applying an approved hot asphalt,2-4 inches in depth,and of course removing and dumping all dead asphalt and base you took out ,any cones and caution tape etc. This is the bare minimum of services.

On average, a private property owner ,such as a shopping center would expect to average of $ 7 to 10.- per sq, ft. with a minimum of at least $500 to even start any work.

The cost of throwing in some asphalt in a hole would of course be cheaper.Municipalities have a different cost involvement so its difficult to pin it down.
