I have the same problem! My local Peugeot dealer have said they need to smash the lock out and replace it. The only way I can see to do this is to: remove the door card insert a long bar through the door and attack it with a big hammer until it all falls apart! approx £86 per hour + cost of new lock in Milton Keynes Dealer. Do I want to risk trying it myself? Not sure yet.

You can replace the inside drivers door handle by removing the door panel. With the door panel removed the door handle mechanism will be visible. Remove the linkage from the door handle. Remove the door handle retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new door handle.
