It'll all depend on where your located. If you go to a national mechanic I.e. sears auto or aamco it could all depend.. you should think about how many miles you have on your car and wonder if you should also change the timing components as this could cause the chain to malfunction as well. I was on ebay a few minutes ago and I saw the complete kit (sprokets, guides, seals, chain) for around 40 bucks.
The 1990 Stanza has a chain.
I believe that it is a chain, I believe that it is a chain,

2004 Nissan sentra with a 1.8L engine has a timing chain and you do not replace it.
ca20? remove all the belts, water pump pulley, underdrive pulley, timing chain cover and timing belt and the water pump is accessible. I would replace the timing belt too.
To my knowledge the Nissan Quest does not use a timing chain, it uses a timing belt, with a replacement interval of 105,000 miles.
The 1989 Nissan Stanza 2.0 4 cylinder has a timing belt. This is also an Interferance Engine, and as such if the belt breaks, serious engine damage will occur. The belt should be replaced at 60,000 miles.
It has a chain and it's a pain to work on, just had to replace mine.

Does a 2007 Nissan Sentra have a timing belt or timing chain?
