Obviously the cost depends if YOU are doing it -or paying a plumber to do it. I have done a few and found very few obstacles. Pulling out the old tub is no problem, most tubs in mobiles are fibreglass,and can be cut in half to fit through narrow doorways. You can extend the existing tub drain away from the wall easily and sit your shower base right on it. Extend the existing water pipes with PEX and Sharkbite unions to the new shower control (very easy) . -The last one I did took a little less than 2 days work, start to finish.
