The cuts on your wrist hurt so much because there are a lot of large veins there, and you probably knicked one of them. The best thing to do is to go to the doctor to get it checked out, and then to a physiatrist to talk about why you cut yourself.

It's not like that. If you cut your wrist, OR your arm, anywhere deeply enough to open an artery, it is a life-or-death situation. But if you cut your wrist or arm not too deeply, it's a "cut" - you will recover from it.
