Depends on several factors: Type of tile Sub-flooring Straight Lay/Offset Angle, Pattern Size of Job
Depending on the pattern and subfloor probably between $40000-50000 not including materials.
It is possible but I would not reccomend it. If possible remove the old tile before laying the new tile. If you want to avoid removing the old tile you can lay a cement board over the old tile before installing the new tile.
Watch Better homes and gardens stupid!
I will not explain exactly how to tile but i will tell you that your floor has to be very flat, an 18" tile is harder to install when there are crowns in floor they are not as forgiving as a 12 or 13" tile and you will have unacceptable lippage in your 18" tile, for installing go to john bridges website.

Youtube is a great place to go to find instructions on how to lay tile.
The cost to lay down a luan sub floor is $15 per sheet, and this would include the material.
If you do it yourself then you save the cost of labor, which will be more than half of the expense. However you should do your homework first and make sure you're comfortable doing the job before you commit to doing it yourself.

5- 7 bucks a SF and most guys charge a minimum fee. Example average kitchen backsplash is 30 Square feet 210.00 wouldn't be worth doing most tile guys minimum charge is 350.00-400.00 Here in Chicago the average price for installation of your ceramic tile should be about 5.50 per S/F straight lay out and $ 6.50 for 45 degree lay out but thast if is ceramic quarry tile and if is a porcelain tile is about $ 7.00 dollar per foot if is a shiny tile. There is no real average because so many variables are involved such as: Types of substrates i.e.. Wood, Concrete, Gypsum screed will require different types of installation methods. For instance an uncoupling membrane or anti-fracture membrane would be highly recommended over most concrete slabs. This would substantially increase your labor costs. Types of Tile: Stone, Glass, Porcelain, Quarry, Ceramic all require different installation methods and installation materials that can alter the cost of labor. Other factors that may affect the price are if the installer includes cement board and mortar. These materials can be costly and if included make sure you factor that in. A 100 square foot floor should run 600-700 dollars Wall Tile can be more.
You didn't give us enough information. Tile floors thoughout the house? Tile bathroom walls? We need measurements for either of those things. Did you aleady buy the tile & grout? If so, you plan on $20-$25 hour to lay it.
