How much electricity a computer uses will depend on the computer's hardware configuration and what all applications are running on the computer. Processor type and speed, graphics chip or graphics card type, computer monitor type (CRT vs TFT/LCD) and other components of computer will determine how much maximum power it takes. At any time what is being done on computer will decide actual power being used. A computer can consume any where from around 100W to 500W or more based on configuration and applications. Specially high end gaming computers with high wattage graphics card consume a lot of power.

it really depends on the computer and what all is in the computer. Older computers took about 150 to 300 watts whereas the newer ones can take 600 to 800 watts or more
Look at the power supply on your computer, it will tell you how many watts yours CAN use when maxed out. You computer will generally use about 50% to 75% of this number in most cases. If you have all the power supply connections filled then you might use more than 75%, maybe as much as 90%
It depends on the size of the power supply - and what internal devices are in use. An average computer will use one unit (Kilowatt) of electricity in about five hours continuous use.
apple is cool they are tasty i hate apple comps
