There are community colleges that have articulation agreements with four year colleges and universities where the receiving institution will take all credits (full faith in credit), and grant the student junior level status. What this means is two years at the community college and two additional years at the four year institution in what amounts to a 2 + 2. (except architecture where it is a five year program of study in total, 2 + 3 at the bachelor's level).
