You can keep "chicken feed" available to them 24/7

I feed my chicken two time each day.
Chickens should eat all there food within one hour if not rats will come after some time.
depends on the weight of the chicken. but usually about 1/3 a lb a day, for egg layers.
.40lbs
A chicken coop run is the space chickens live in. Depending on how much space you have for construction, the size of the coop run is going to differ for each coop.
If by change you mean clean out then it depends how many chickens you have and how big the coop is. But I would clean it out about every two weeks or so.
chickens live on farms
10 chickens
We have 16 chickens. They get about 8 scoops of feed a day, plus 2 scoops of scratch, and an occasional bonus of vegetable scraps depending on performance. That equals out to about .5 scoops of feed per chicken, along with 0.125 scoops of scratch. The scrap bonus is highly variable. Some chickens also have secondary free range jobs outside of the coop. Their earnings are increased depending on the area in which they live, but spiders, bugs, grass, and other pickings are added to their income.
i would say about 100 chickens to feed that many people.
Chickens can eat coconut, it's just not so good for them so don't feed them too much!
you need a lot of space so make sure the chickens cant fly out i used have chickens but they flew away its been two years and ihaven'teaten a chicken poorGeorgewhere are you
A good basic feed should be available at all times for your chickens. Start with about 3 oz. per bird and check how much is gone after a day. Keep in mind the birds will waste some of the feed by walking through and scattering the grains.
Yes and much happier
A 20 LARGE bird coop plus a coop extension run also if you want them free-range you need 1 square inch per chicken, hope this helped
Do not kill chickens! They are highly intelligent and affectionate pets!
