Who knows? But if they are eating 20,000 calories a day, what does it matter? I guess they would need enough fiber for a week, as normal caloric intake should ONLY be between 1200 and 1500, per DAY! WHEW! 20,000 PER DAY, HOLY MOLY! Can anybody say metamucil?

You do not get calories from the fibers. Every thing in your food has got it's own advantages and disadvantages. Fibers protect you from cancer of the colon.
