I don't give any, but the US government gives Israel billions of dollars every year.
need-based
$50,000
Pretty much. But there are grants, which do not have to be repaid. See the school Financial Aid Office for assistance.
Part-tome students can be eligible for financial aid, based on a determined need. The amount of aid given will be based on personal need, and the amount of credits carried for any given semester. You can check with the Financial Aid Department at the institution you are at, or have an interest in for detailed information and procedures. Also ask for scholarship information. Not all scholarships are academic based.
Israel is not destroying the American economy. Concerning the financial crisis that started in 2008, this was primarily derived from mortgage-backed securities and other financial derivatives failing and panicking the markets. Israel has a lot of trade with the United States, which contributes to American jobs in many sectors. Also, much of the American financial aid to Israel must, by law, be spent on American goods, thus (again) contributing to American jobs.
America is not "paying" Israel millions of dollars, it is providing Israel with aid. The rationale for that aid is the numerous services and assistance that Israel provides the United States. These things include new technologies, military intelligence, corporate knowhow, and security for American religious pilgrims (who would not have as much security if an Arab Country like Saudi Arabia controlled the region). In addition over 70% of the aid given to Israel must be spent on products produced in the United States, so the process of providing aid helps maintain America's industrial sector.
Not much lol
A calculation of income and assets determines how much aid is given. Depends on the kind of aid you are receiving. Some split it between what you can handle and what parents can handle if you/they are willing to take on a portion of you loan. You must complete a FAFSA first to determine what types of need- and non-need-based aid, consisting of grants, loans, work-study programs, tuition waivers, and scholarships can be given.
Your entire tuition should be paid for by your financial aid qualifications.
Most financial aid based on financial need to demonstrate their qualifications and not, therefore, much of the information in this book focuses on the need-based aid. For more information on financial aid is not based on income or family assets.
Yes, financial aid is available to culinary schools. Check with your school's financial aid office for details on what aid is available.
