Depending on your weight. You hear "8 glasses of water a day" but how big of a glass? Well if you have a girl who is 5 ft tall and weighs 105LB and then you have a man that is 6 ft tall and weighs 190, and you have them both drink the same amount of water (8 glasses a day) if the glass fits 8oz, that means the man would not be drinking enough water. Or if the glass is 16oz, than the girl is drinking too much water. So to find out how many ounces of water to drink for your body, you divide your weight by 2, and what ever number you get, that's how many ounces of water you should consume in one day. if you weigh 130LB you would divide that by 2 and get 65, so you would drink 65oz of water for your body.
