If your Cory catfish is in a tank with no other fish species, it really doesn't matter. If you have other fish species with it in a tank I would try turning off the lights at night and feeding your Cory then. It will give your Cory a better chance of getting the food before another fish gets it because corys don't use their eyes to find food, they use their barbles.
They will usually eat any food stuffs that have sunk to the bottom of the tank. If there are other fish getting all the food before it reaches the bottom you may have to get some kind of quick sinking pelletised foods.
Although normal tropical fish flakes are OK, there are special quick sinking foods available for Bottom feeding fish. A small amount of this can be fed to Corydoras each morning and evening. Please make sure that no food is left over to go rotten in the tank. This will kill the fish.
Most catfish are bottom feeders so a sinking food or a frozen food. You should only feed them what they can eat in about 3 mins. you want to avoid left over food on the substrate(gravel, sand etc.)

Yes. Catfish are known to eat it.
Yes, there maybe some cases where a catfish won't eat a catfish oof it's ownspecies (like a channel cat not eating a channel cat) but I'm sure all of them will eat smaller different catfish (Yellowhead eating a bullhead)
cats can eat about 3 plate of food in one day
