You shold fill it's bowl up and put more food in once it's empty which takes about a week for me, the length of time may be differant depending on bowl size and what you are feeding it but standard hamster food is the best thing with some veg.

∙ 13y agoHamsters should eat half a handful of fresh foods and a teaspoon of dry food give it a little extra because it may want to store some in its sleeping area or bed.

∙ 12y agoI am a 2 robo dwarf hamster owner, and I fill their food bowls 1/3 full of their hamster food along with 2 hamster treats. Then on another bowl, i put in veggies or a fruit.
