∙ 12y agoif it's dwarf give it a half handful and spred it around the cage and bury some it allows them to forage for their food and if it's a tedy bear hamster whole handful also spread around the cage so if it's small half handful big gets whole handful :)

∙ 12y agoBigger hamsters like Syrians enjoy 12 grams of food a day but smaller one's like Russian Dwarfs will take 6 grams. But different hamsters eat different amounts, so try to get used to what they need every day.
Remember to give hamsters some FRESH food sometimes, they love it.

∙ 10y agoHamsters stop eating once they're full, so you don't have to worry about overfeeding them. They should always have dry mix in their bowl and you can give them fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
