Plate tectonics move about 2 centimeters every year. This is a very small amount of movement. Predicted in 2,000,000 years there will me another major difference in the formation of the continents
They didn't. If you take out all the water from the seas and ocean, you would see the continents are still connected by land (save for the faults). Unless the tectonic plates were reduced to the incredibly small sizes therefore allowing them to shift like you are misled to believe, there is no chance of the continents shifting as they are all part of the ground, not floating.
If you take a map and cut out all the Continent, you can see that they fit together almost perfectly, like a giant puzzle. This idea supports the fact that all the continents were connected in one large landmass.
Kinda-sorta. All rains can cause soil erosion, as it doesn't take much for running water to cut channels and move loose dirt about.
That depends on the shore ... at a cliff there is little change, on a gentle slope then the "shore" will move quite a bit. And in a place like Florida it wouldn't take much to drown the state.
A lot.
it took so long because, the earths mantel is solid
a bit of force, not allot of force.
well think of it like having a small object with little mass then a large object with a lot of mass. Hitting the big object takes more force to make it move and the little object does not take nearly as much force to make it move. i hope this helped!
becausevthe basletball is heavier.
When you include the effects of friction, it takes less force to move a light-weight object. If you can get the objects into a frictionless environment, then any force, no matter how small, can move any object, no matter how heavy.
force is not a think it is only in star wars
No
yes, but very slowly. it would take thousands of years for any real distance to be created
it takes about 9 pounds of force to break your arm

As much energy it takes to move your ass!!!!!
