3-6 billion trees are consumed by the world each world
over 8,000,000 trees are being cut down in the amazon every year!
Every year, on average, the amount of trees that are cut down are about the size of Ireland and 2 billion of those trees go to making paper (toilet paper, printer paper, cards, etc.)
There are 3.5 billion to 7 billion trees cut down each year.
Deforestation is what you get when too many trees have been removed.
But no one sets out to create deforestation.
Deforestation is bad, it hurts the soil, slows down regrowth etc etc.
According to a 2010 study by the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation:
525,600,000 trees are cut down every year!
100 species from the rainforest are killed each day due to deforestation!
23,5673 trees are cut down a year.
100 species from the rainforest are killed each day due to deforestation!
around 400,000
Hi
Their are no rain forests in Canada. So no rain forest trees to cut down.
No, we have only trees like pine trees, oak, linden trees and many others. So, no rainforests
There won't be so many disgusting animals.
Well, yes. Look around! There are many different types of trees, but most of them are being cut down. Many rainforests are being destroyed. But, yes, there are a lot of trees in the world!

over 10,000 trees a day
the answer is that over 34 million chrismas trees are cut down each year.
There are many types of rainforests, each with its own tree species and forest characteristics. The rainforests of the Pacific Northwest will have a different density of trees than an Indonesian tropical rainforest, just as both of those have a different density of trees from the Amazon. If you can figure out the average number of trees per acre of a particular forest type, and you know how many acres the forest is in total size, you can estimate the total number of trees in that forest. It will be different for each region and forest type.
