Something people need to understand about fuel consumption, is it changes all the time. There really is no exact number for every plane. Weather plays a factor, thrust rating, runway length and weight. The heavier the plane, the more fuel used. I did hear one answer for the 747 was it used 4 gallons per engine, per second at full power. Most likely a VERY erroneous answer, but its a start.
