9 to 13 LBS ( PSI )
The 4.3L engine in 2002 should have 60 to 66 psi of fuel pressure.
Key on Engine not running 55 - 61 psi. Engine running pressure should decrease 3-10 psi.
fuel pressure?? if it is fuel injected it should be on the end of the fuel rail.
key on engine not running 58-64 psi engine running at idle pressure should drop by 3-10 psi
41-47 psi, engine off, fuel pump running.
Assuming this is the 4.3 L engine, 60 to 66 psi with fuel pump running, engine off.
You may have some fuel pressure but not enough. Do a pressure test with a fuel pressure test gauge, it should have 41 to 47 psi to properly run the engine. Sorry, But that engine should have 9 to 13 LBS. of fuel pressure. No lower are higher are you will have problems.
You do not need to pump a fuel injected engine, It's useless it does not do anything.
Assuming this is a 4.3L engine, cycle the key off and on several times until the pressure peaks. The fuel pressure gauge should read 60 to 66 psi if all is well.
your question should be , whats the proper pressure for the tiers on my 91 s-10 blazer this information is embossed on your tiers
The transmission dipstick on a 1998 Blazer should be located at the rear of the engine. It should not be near the oil dipstick.
It should be located beside the distributor. When looking from the front of the engine it should be on the drivers side. About 6-8 inches to the right of the distributor. Hope this helps.
