I have a 2001 model and do a lot of highway driving (approx. 90%). I usually average 26-28 MPG. Closer to 28 right after an oil change. On a tankful, i usually get anywhere between 350-400 miles per tank. Not bad for a V6. I have noticed it drinks a lot of oil. I usually don't get 3000 miles before I have to add a quart. There's no leaks, so I'm not sure why it drinks so much. But note, when you have it changed, make sure they put 6 quarts in and not 5, which most places tend to do. I've had this happen several times to me and its a pain.
