A quarter of 17 gallons = 4.25 gallons
5 Gallons
The tank of which car??
Normally there is 2 gallons left in the tank.
I'm pretty sure its 18 gallons, it takes just over 15 when I have a little less than a quarter tank left
a quarter tank is about 3 gallons 3 gallons will move my truck about 15 miles and my daughter's tinny car about 90 miles and my grandson's motorcycle about 300 miles.
My silverado has a 25 gallon tank, so if you divided it by 4, I would say 6 and 1/4 gallon in a quarter of a tank.
3.17 gallons its 1/8 of a tank
Approx 10 percent of the fuel tank capacity. If 20 gallon tank, then 2 gallons.
The capacity of the tank is 18 gallons, but with the reserve, the light comes on with about 3 gallons left in the tank.
If the tank is 36 inches deep then there is a thousand gallons in it. On the other hand if the tank is 72 inches deep then there is 500 gallons in it.
The 3 gallons is the reserve left in the tank. This reserve prevents you from running the tank dry. Almost every car built today has a reserve of from 2-4 gallons.
