One of the reasons for a 2003 Nissan Sentra to run rough and stall out when it comes to stop is a bad oxygen sensor. Another cause for the running rough could also be a dirty air cleaner.
A 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8 L engine uses 2 7/8 quarts or 2.7 liters of 5w-30 oil with a oil filter change. This information comes directly from the maintenance section in the owners manual thats comes from Nissan.
No, tranny comes out the bottom.
The 'oxygen sensor'may need to be replaced on '96 Sentra when the check engine light comes on. The should be replaced on the '96 Sentra every 100k miles for better fuel efficiency and to protect the converter.
It means that the engine computer has detected a malfunction and set a code.
Yeah, it's in the fuel tank itself. Nissan reccomends that the fuel pump, sensor, and filter never be replaced and the part comes from a dealer only. Good Luck!
You may have serious engine damage. Have a mechanic look at your car.
If it is like my 2001 Nissan Sentra, there is a cover behind the drivers side tire. It bolts on in the front and 2 quills click into the charcoal cannister. The cover comes off and the white plastic piece is the vacuum cut valve bypass valve. Nissan price $140.00-Wilton Nissan. I also did as recommended, and replaced the valve on the cannister, and the solenoid -the bolt on the canister broke as is evidently common. Replace cannister. Whole job (I did the labor) about $600.00
It is important to pay attention to the warning lights of a vehicle. The fuel light comes on because the car is low on gasoline.
When replacing or making changes to the vacuum line of a car, it comes in handy to have a diagram. A diagram for this cars vacuum line can be found in the maintenance manual.
It is normal and unless you are loosing coolant, I wouldn't worry about it. GoodluckJoe
Your thermometer may be stuck shut.
