0.555 liters. Basically little over half a quart
Aprox 4 pints in the rear differential.
About 3 liters
A madd gear pro will cost about $99 from Kmart
The transmission does not take gear oil. The auto uses ATF+4 and the manual uses manual trans fluid.
manual tranny's take gear oil not tranny fluid. you need to get all that fluid out and fill the tranny with 80/90 weight gear oil
If it has a distributor, then that is what drives the oil pump. The camshaft is what makes the distributor turn.If it does not have a distributor then the gear on the oil pump slides over the front of the crankshaft and turns when the crankshaft turns and that is what makes the oil pump work. Early 99 models had a distributor, and the late 99 did not have one.
If the normal is 80w90 gear oil ( or another thick oil )then it is fine to use Lucas oil stabilizer. You just have to be careful nowadays, not so much with differentials but the manual transmissions, many manufacturers are going to atf.
it cost ten throe seventy dollars
The '99 Sportster uses three quarts of engine oil, and one quart of Sport-Trans in the Primary/Transmission.
