just FYI, 2003 was the last year for the 5.9L and it was 245hp@4000rpms and 335Lb-Ft@3200rpms. the other engines were the 4.7L V8 with 240hp@4800rpms and 300Lb-Ft@3200rpms, and the 3.7L V6 with 215hp@5200rpms and 235Lb-Ft@3200rpms . the 5.9L was replaced by the 5.7L hemi in 2004(which was introduced in an earlier year, i think 2003) with a huge difference over the 5.9L. the 5.7L hemi was 345hp@5400rpms and 375Lb-Ft@4400rpms. those numbers are all for the ram pickup. the ram van may be 5hp or so less from more restrictive intake tubes.
I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab and it has 310 horse power and 330 lb-ft
390hp
the 5.2L V8 has 220.
It was rated at 335 hp.
235 hp
245 hp
255
my 2002 dodge ram 1500 4.7l is 240bhp from standard spec .
345
Depends what year. But a 2000 has 285hp
Two good parts for a 1998 Dodge 1500 with a 5.9 liter engine that increase power and mileage are high performance air and fuel filters.
No, they are not interchangeable.
